Commercial Real Estate sales volume of $12.9M with 31 transactions in 2019 is down 19.5% compared to sales in 2018 with 30 transactions worth $16M. Residential Real Estate sales of $224M increased 5.3% compared to sales in 2018 of $212.7M. Sales Taxes are up 3.3% in 2019 compared to taxes collected in 2018. Commercial real estate development projects include Maverik Gas Station on the corner of San Juan and N. Townsend that has started construction, Golden Gate Gas Station has closed on commercial land at Ogden and S. Townsend and Russell Stover announced that the will be closing their Montrose location in 15 months.
