Lucinda Stanley has been a commercial real estate professional since 1984. She is the owner of Grand Mesa Commercial Real Estate in the Delta County area. Her commercial real estate company has been in the Delta area since 2011 and has helped many small businesses by providing guidance to match their business goals. From commercial leasing and real estate sales, business consultations, land acquisitions and commercial property management services, Lucinda Stanley customizes her services to help further her client’s success. She obtained the distinguished CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation in 1995 furthering her knowledge and expertise in the commercial real estate field and has been sharing some of that knowledge by instructing continuing education classes for commercial real estate brokers.

Prior to relocating to Delta County, Lucinda worked with several large commercial development companies that specialized in a multitude of commercial properties, including mini storages, executive office suites, high end office/medical condos, incubator and light industrial parks, an active 55+ Residential Condominium Project, property management (obtained and held the CPM (Certified Property Manager) designation from 1991 thru 2014) and a multitude of commercial leasing.

Due to the unique business climate in Delta County, Lucinda Stanley broadened her focus by taking several IBBA (International Business Brokerage Association) classes tailored to small business valuations and sales. “I witnessed business owners leaving their years of hard work (sweat equity) on the table when they were finally ready to sell so they could enjoy their retirement years. To maximize value, a business owner needs to prepare their business for sale years in advance.”

Professional Background

Lucinda Stanley began her career in banking, starting from being a bank teller to an Assistant Loan Officer prior to moving from a small town in Maine to the glitter and lights of Las Vegas. A chain of events lead Lucinda Stanley to the Riberio Corporation, one of the leading commercial developers in Las Vegas and eventually she obtained her real estate license in 1989. During her 8+ years with the Riberio Corporation, Lucinda Stanley learned and managed 3 large mini storage facilities, 5 executive office suites complexes, incubator industrial parks, property management for all Riberio’s properties, created internal/department budgets and was known as their “Trouble Shooter” for projects that were struggling and successfully turned distressed properties into a healthy cash flow. Her last employment with SHEA/SAXA, Inc. and was their leading their Las Vegas development and real estate office in the development and sales of office/medical condominiums as well as general real estate.

Community Service & Involvement

Lucinda Stanley is member of the Delta County Planning Commission, member of a local networking group, past Board Member and Treasurer of the Delta County Memorial Hospital’s Foundation, past Rotarian, past Altrusan and past Hope West Advisory Board Member.

Other previous community involvement includes: Past Chairperson for Nevada Development Association’s Executive Membership Committee (5 years), Past Nevada Development Association Trustee, past Chairperson and Founder of the Las Vegas Chamber’s Women of Achievement Awards, Past Director for the Women’s Council for the Las Vegas Chamber, former Director of the Clark County School District’s Partnership Advisory Council. Her most noted achievement was the founding and chair of the CCIM Wine Tasting and Silent Auction Committee which raised over $300,000 in proceeds since 1993 with proceeds going to various scholarship and school funding projects.


In 1991 Lucinda Stanley received her CPM (Certified Property Manager) designation. In 1995 the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation and prior to 1991 took the equivalent of 2 years of college courses.


Lucinda Stanley and her husband, Bruce have been married since 1996 and currently has 7 grandchildren from her grown step children. Her siblings live in New England which is where she vacations every year while also enjoying the Colorado lifestyle of snow skiing, hiking, fishing, snow shoeing and bicycle riding.


I have known Lucinda Stanley for about 10 years now and in that time we have been client/commercial realtor, business partners, employer/employee but most importantly best friends.
